Annual Cultural Festivals

Since antiquity, musical contests were held at the ancient theater in honor of the Charites (Graces), Zeus, and Dionysus. In modern times, the Municipality of Orchomenos has established annual cultural events festival during the first ten days of September. These are complemented by parallel cultural activities organized by local cultural associations, such as the Dionysia, Kopaia, and Ptoia, which also take place around the same period.
