Smoked Trout of Orchomenus

The renowned Orchomenus trout is raised in its natural environment, within the crystal-clear waters of the “Springs of the Three Graces”, which flow from Mount Akontio. This unique local product can be purchased directly from the region’s fish farms.
The smoked trout fillet “Saumonée”, traditionally smoked with beechwood — the result of years of expertise — is vacuum-sealed to preserve its rich flavor. It can be stored for 3 months when refrigerated and for 1 year when frozen from the date of production. You can also purchase freshly caught trout, cleaned and ready for cooking, straight from its natural habitat. Additionally, Orchomenus smoked trout fillets “Saumonée” are available at various food stores, organic shops, and delicatessens in the region as well as in Athens.
