Agios Spyridonas is another lowland village within the Municipality of Orchomenus. It is situated to the north of the Copais plain. Until 1927, the village was called Vranesi, when it was renamed Agios Spyridonas after its patron saint, Saint Spyridon. Together with the village of Agios Andreas, it forms the Municipal Community of Agios Spyridonas.
